Dr Nisim Perets has earned a Ph.D. in neuroscience from Tel Aviv University in the field of stem cells and exosome therapy for neurological dysfunctions. Two of Nisim’s projects have been patented and licensed by pharma companies (Stemcell Medicine Ltd and Nurexone). Nisim published 7 papers in the field of exosomes as treatment and drug carriers, including serving as co-author of the paper on exosomes loaded with PTEN siRNA for spinal cord regeneration. Prior to joining NurExone, Nisim was a senior scientist at Stemcell Medicine Ltd., a company that promotes exosome treatment for autism spectrum disorders.
