Dr. Tabak holds PhD in Medical Science from the Department of Clinical Biochemistry & Pharmacology.During her research, Saray has developed and utilized new approaches for using Exosomes as drug delivery vesicles, which mediate communication between tissues in the ocular drainage system using an In-Vitro model, to regulate uptake mechanisms and extracellular matrix remodelling, to lower Intra-ocular pressure in glaucoma. Dr. Tabak also promoted collaborative work with other academic and industrial research groups.
Saray has an extensive experience in cell culture, molecular biology, nanoparticles characterization
methods & engineering, and bioimaging technologies.
Prior to joining NurExone, Saray served as an advanced R&D specialist in Biosense Webster, a medical device company, in the field of cardiology and electrophysiology.
