Intellectual Property Portfolio

Protecting ExoPTEN, exosome Production and Therapeutic Cargo

5 Areas Of Innovation

NurExone is building a multi-layered intellectual property portfolio covering key elements of its exosome-based therapeutic strategy, including product composition and administration, exosome production, therapeutic cargo, loading technology, and additional regenerative targets.

The portfolio includes granted patents, pending national-phase applications, PCT applications and provisional patent filings across multiple jurisdictions.

1

Administration

  • Intranasal Administration of ExoPTEN (granted in the US and pending in other countries)
This covers and protects our ExoPTEN drug composition, and methods for non-invasive intranasal administration of exosome-based treatments.

2

Exosomes and Large-Scale Production

  • 2 PCTs on Bioproduction and the Composition of Matter of our exosomes
  • 2D and 3D production methods designed to support yield, consistency and biological potency.

3

API

  • Provisional patents describing siRNA sequences to inhibit PTEN production (ExoPTEN)

4

Post-Production Loading Technology

  • NurExone’s patent portfolio includes applications covering methods and materials for loading therapeutic cargo onto exosomes after they have been produced. The technology uses controlled incubation and specialized conjugation media to support efficient loading through natural interactions, without genetically modifying the source cells or disrupting exosome membrane integrity. This post-production approach is intended to preserve key exosome characteristics while allowing defined therapeutic payloads to be incorporated into exosome-based nanodrugs.
