Mira Assad PhD

R&D Scientist

Mira is a neuroscientist with over four years of experience in molecular neurobiology, specializing in the study of neuronal systems and cellular mechanisms using human iPSC derived motor neurons on a chip. She recently obtained her PhD from Tel Aviv University, where she developed strong expertise in experimental design, advanced imaging, and molecular techniques on neuronal cultures.

Currently, Mira is focused on translating her academic experience into industry applications, working toward establishing robust neuronal analytical potency assays within an R&D environment. She is particularly interested in bridging fundamental neuroscience with translational applications that advance drug discovery and bring research closer to the development of therapies for currently incurable neurological conditions.
