Rina Wassermann is an accomplished R&D leader with over 15 years of experience in cancer research and a PhD in Molecular Genetics from the Weizmann Institute of Science. Most recently serving as Director of Computational Biology, she has a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams of over 10 employees across software, data science, and biology departments. Her expertise lies in bridging the gap between molecular biology and drug discovery, having spearheaded the development of software platforms and mRNA-based oncology projects from initial evaluation through to pre-clinical studies.

Throughout her career in the biotech industry, Rina has demonstrated exceptional skill in identifying molecular targets and modes of action for novel compounds. Her technical proficiency spans a wide array of in-vitro and in-vivo models, including high-throughput screening, lead optimization, and the management of complex tumor xenograft studies. An award-winning researcher who graduated with highest honors from Ben Gurion University, she combines deep scientific rigor with strategic project management to drive innovation in pharma and healthcare.
